Experience: David serves as a subject matter expert on border security issues for the Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute. Since joining the Institute in 2008, David has become a high value asset through his experiences on the Northern and Southern border with Customs and Border Protection agents. Recently, David has served as a liaison between border agents and DHS Headquarters components on issues related to the interdiction of illegal activity at vulnerability points along the land-border and our national capability to detect and assess illicit tunnels.
