Arlington, VA – Analytic Services kicked off its inaugural Development Seminar Series hosting special guest, Hugh Montgomery, Senior Fellow of the Potomac Institute. With over 40 years of experience as a naval scientist, Senior Executive, and non-profit administrator, Mr. Montgomery supplied Analytic Services with timely and insightful analysis on his breadth of professional experiences. Using his recent book Bureaucratic Nirvana: Life in the Center of the Box as a guide, the presentation covered the organizational structure of the federal research and development (R&D) budget process with a focus on the nuances within the Department of Defense’s (DoD) $75 billion R&D enterprise.
“Analytic Services is committed to informing decisions that shape the Nation’s future and Hugh’s insight will greatly assist us in that endeavor. As our clients include the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and various components of the DoD’s research and engineering enterprise, our team of analysts is frequently involved in supporting the strategic decision-making process. This presentation will serve as a tangible aid to those efforts,” said Robert Edson, Vice President of Enterprise Development.
