Arlington, VA - ANSER, an operating unit of Analytic Services recently partnered with the Croatian Urgent Medicine and Surgery Association (CROUMSA) to host an Advanced Study Institute (ASI) supported by NATO’s Science for Peace and Security program. The ASI, Applying Lessons Learned and Sharing Best Practices in Addressing Pandemics and Catastrophic Health Events, was held in Slavonski Brod, Croatia from November 27 - December 8.

Dr. Elin Gursky of ANSER and Dr. Boris Hershcovski of CROUMSA led this multilateral effort in order to further coordinate preparedness across national boundaries in times of crises.

Dr. Gursky’s leadership of this effort to share best practices internationally continues this trend while also ensuring for a more vigilant emergency preparedness and response community.
