Analytic Services Hosts Dawn Halfaker as the February Installment of its Distinguished Speaker Series

Arlington, VA – Dawn Halfaker, President and CEO of Halfaker and Associates, LLC, addressed Analytic Services in a recent installment of the Distinguished Speaker Series. With a presentation titled, “From the Battlefield to the Boardroom”, Dawn led the audience through an incredibly inspiring story of overcoming adversity while in uniform to eventually attain distinction within the business world. Having discovered that business is just another form of combat, Dawn has grown her company from 1 to 171 employees since the company’s inception in 2006. Remarkably, in 2011 Dawn increased the company’s revenue almost 50% from 2010, bringing in over $27 million while broadening her client base to include the Departments of Defense, Air Force, Army, Navy, and Veterans Affairs.  

Analytic Services is proud to serve as a “mentor” to Halfaker and Associates through the Department of the Army’s Office of Small Business Programs. Halfaker and Associates is a service-disabled veteran-owned, woman-owned, 8(a), small business. During the engagement Dawn reflected, “Sometimes it takes the death of a dream to realize a destiny. I am fortunate to have realized my destiny and look forward to everything else this journey will bring - both the challenges and the triumphs.”
