Analytic Services is a not-for-profit public service institute dedicated to informing decisions that shape the nation’s future. We provide objective studies and analyses for the national security, homeland security, and other select public policy communities. Capabilities are delivered through our ANSER operating unit, the Applied Systems Thinking (ASysT) Institute, and the Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute, a federally funded research and development center, operated on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security.
The Distinguished Speakers Series provides a platform for significant national and international figures to share experiences and ideas, provoke thought and facilitate dialogue about crucial domestic and global issues. Presentations have covered topics ranging from national or homeland security, intelligence, energy, environment and healthcare. Recent speakers have included: Admiral Thad Allen, Former Commandant of the Coast Guard; Caryn Wagner, Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis, Department of Homeland Security, Lieutenant General Lawrence Farrell (USAF Ret.), President of the National Defense Industrial Association, and W. Craig Fugate, Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
