Arlington, VA - Analytic Services, Inc. and Halfaker and Associates, LLC are pleased to announce the establishment of a Small Business Mentor-Protégé Partnership (MPP) sponsored by the Department of the Army Office of Small Business Programs. ANSER, one of two business units of Analytic Services, Inc., signed a Mentor-Protégé agreement with Halfaker and was recently awarded a three-year contract by the Department of the Army and the Defense Contract Management Agency. ANSER first joined the Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program in 1993.

The formal Mentor-Protégé Partnership that we are now launching builds on over three years of collaboration that has been personally and professionally rewarding for our employees”.

Ms. Halfaker is an Army Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and was wounded during a combat patrol near Baghdad in 2004, earning a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. “Our company has grown rapidly, and we will benefit greatly from ANSER’s depth of expertise and experience in business operations.”

Halfaker & Associates was founded in 2006 in response to the challenges of a radically changing national security environment. Halfaker and ANSER have already partnered on a number of projects across a diverse range of national security disciplines to include Homeland Defense, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection, and the Defense Forensics Enterprise. As a key feature of ANSER’s MPP implementation strategy, Halfaker personnel will have access to systems thinking training as well as access to ANSER subject matter experts and business leaders.
The Army’s Mentor-Protégé Partnership Program encourages Army prime contractors to mentor eligible protégé small businesses, enhancing and developing their technical and business capabilities to support the war fighter, and to help build a stronger economic base in America.
