Analytic Services is a public-service research institute organized as a not-for-profit corporation. We deliver capabilities through ANSER; the Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute (HSSAI), a federally funded research and development center operated on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security; and the Applied Systems Thinking (ASysT) Institute. Our corporation harnesses its Differentiating Capabilities across 11 Mission Areas supporting a broad array of public sector clients in the national security, homeland security and to other select policy communities. We comprise seasoned national security practitioners devoted to applying systemic approaches to find solutions for complex problems.

ANSER, an operating unit of Analytic Services, focuses resources and capabilities in areas that allow us to be at the forefront of challenges shaping our Nation’s future. ANSER looks over the horizon to anticipate emerging requirements while identifying the best ways to maximize its contributions.
To deliver services, we deploy our team across five Mission Areas while harnessing Analytic Services’ Differentiating Capabilities. Although our client base is broad, specific practice areas include Joint Operations; Global Threats & Intelligence; Mission Assurance; Operations Analysis & Management; and Science & Technology.

Established in 2007, the Applied Systems Thinking (ASysT) Institute is a collaborative endeavor of Analytic Services Inc. We created ASysT out of a mutually recognized need to apply systems thinking principles to problems of national significance while simultaneously developing an educational enterprise for all levels of leadership, as well as practitioners, throughout the national security, homeland security, intelligence, and broader policy communities.

The Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute (HSSAI) is a federally funded research and development center operated by Analytic Services on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security. HSSAI delivers independent, objective analysis and specialized technical expertise to help transform homeland security goals and objectives into meaningful strategies, operational requirements, and metrics.
