RISK ASSESSMENT

Since the late 1990s, ANSER has served as a thought leader for risk assessments and analysis. Following the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing, we were the first company to support the DoD/Joint Staff establishment of risk assessment methodologies and operational capabilities. Those capabilities evolved, with ANSER’s support, to form the current DoD Mission Assurance program. From 2002 to 2016, we operated the Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security, including extensive support for DHS risk management. Building on earlier success, ANSER has provided U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and Pacific Air Forces installations and operational planners with full-spectrum risk assessments and analysis. The results of these assessments inform senior leader oversight and decision-making by providing timely and accurate information, analyses, and recommendations. ANSER also supports the U.S. Air Force with Air Force Mission Assurance Assessments (AFMAAs). The AFMAAs inform leadership on the strategic risk to mission success and offer comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
