To be considered for the program, you must have (or be within one semester of attaining) an advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a quantitative social science. You should also have experience applying methodologies and tools frequently used throughout these technical domains.
Since ANSER performs work in the public interest, frequently involving the use of classified information, you must provide acceptable proof of U.S. citizenship and must be able to pass a background check for the purpose of obtaining a National security clearance and DHS access. Applicants who are not US citizens, or who are otherwise unable to obtain a National security clearance and DHS access will not be considered.
